Twiggy
Twiggy is a 7 year old Papillion with a heart as big as she is and a winning personality who loves people. She enjoys visiting people, being petted, sitting in wheelchairs or on beds, and being groomed. In addition to people, Twiggy likes her fellow 4 legged friends - dogs, cats and rabbits.
Twiggy passed the rigorous testing of the AKC International Volunteer Pet Therapy Program and is a registered member of TDI, Inc. Volunteer Therapy Pet Program. To qualify for this program, Twiggy undertook a rigorous 4 month training program and flew in her own personal dog trainer from Chicago to ace the Volunteer Pet Therapy test held in Lawrenceville.
Whitaker
Whitaker is a 4 year old brown and white Australian Sheppard who has the cutest freckles across his nose! He is a gentle old soul who loves interaction with others and cuddling.
Whitaker’s combination of love, loyalty and obedience, made him the perfect candidate to enroll in training to become a therapy dog. After intense training, Whitaker is now certified with the AKC International Volunteer Pet Therapy Program, Therapy Dogs International, and Atlanta Therapaws. Thanks to Whitaker’s friend, Twiggy, a personal dog trainer was flown in from Chicago to ensure both were able to excel and pass the Volunteer Pet Therapy test.
